Anyone else get itchy from Vicodin?

It's been so long since Ive taken this stuff, I forgot how itchy it makes me. And also keeps me wide awake instead of making me sleepy.

Alot of peeps get itchy from pain meds - my wife, when she had our daughter - it was a c-section and she kept asking me to itch her nose 4 her...it was really cute.... the dr. gave her something to try to stop the itching side effect because it was becoming a distraction...

But at the time I dont ever get too worried about it...cause...well I'm on vicodin.

If I accumulate over 20mg of hydrocodone within a 24 hour period I'll get the nauseas feeling. Ugh. UnlessI have a shit load of them (when you break bones etc) then you can stomach a lot more.

I prefer uppers to downers nowadays.

I had an exposed nerve and I had a root canal this morning. it's just for dental pain. i can only take one pill at night along with benadryl so as to avoid the itchiness. it does take the pain away though. during the day i take ibuprofen or aleve

hope you feel better soon.
i'm down to taking 1 perc every 3 -4 hours, instead of every 2, although i'm counting down the minutes near the end of the 3 hours now.
i've never had itchiness with either percs or vicodin- i wish i did so i wouldn't enjoy them so much.
