I have a friend that fights and has been into it for awhile. I asked him about his gym and he said it's pretty expensive because you have to training first before you can do it on your own.
I goto Synergy Fitness center which is a chain here in NY, and I heard they're putting a ring in the place soon. Probably be some fairy womans kickboxing gym were you can only participate with a trainer.
Wish there was someplace that I could just spare with my friends in a ring and skip the trainer part. I guess for insurance purposes this isnt possible.
I should probably try my own fight club like in the movie and meet in some warehouse on Saturday nights.
My friends father said when he was younger and living in the bronx, the local YMCA's had a boxing gym with weights and a ring that they could use at their own will for like a $1 a day. I need something like this badly.
