Anybody work @ the post office or knows somebody that does?

Hi guys, just out of curiosity, I'm interested to compare the post office jobs' salaries to mine (I work at university as a researcher - it's humanities/social sciences so it's not that advanced). Anyway, how much a person working at the post office makes monthly/yearly depending on the job??

Both my parents do in Connecticut. They make about $100k together. So it's pretty decent money, you just won't get rich. Now I know a chick who work for the PO down here in GA and hated it. I guess it depends where you are.

You could get your Bachelor's degree, and get into the FBI. Law Enforcement is another way to go too. Both give priority to former enlisted servicemen.

FBI might be tough to get into, especially because of the steroid factor. They are strict. Look at all the skinny FBI agents.

Very true. I forgot about the steroid factor. A kid in a class of mine did a career report on being in the FBI, and now that I think of it, the substance use policy is strict.

Screw working.......go to college and play football. Since that is what you said you wanted to do. You can get all kinds of grants and shit and work study money to boot. If you get a scholarship make sure you get in good with a rich alumnus......then it is gravy.
