Anybody send Priority Mail that is taking forever??

I sent out a Priority Mail package (CD burner) to my friend back east. I sent it out on Monday and tracking says it's still not there yet. IN advance I do know what is going on mail wise but that is still a LONG TIME. The post office said that stuff had to go by train. Arrrgh. Anybody else have this problem??

don't worry. it's taking a bit longer since most packages are being shipped by ground. I mailed a priority letter across country and it took 5 days.

"Priority mail" is nothing but a marketing scam. There is no guaranteed delivery time and things rarely arrive any earlier than by first class. The ONLY reason I use it is because they will now scan delivery time.
