Working out during lawschool
I kept working out and got a 3.63/4.0 my first semester. But I bought an Olympic bench with extendable uprights that turn around for squats, a 300 lb set with two extra 25 lb plates, and squat spotters (they go on both sides of you and are adjustable). If you do not own already you can order from New York Barbell in Elmyra New York. I bought mine from a NY B-bell retailer in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, which saved me on shipping. For the bench and weights I paid $250! They will last a lifetime and are cheaper than a one year gym membership. If you have a small apartment or a studio, just put the bench against the wall, the bar on the floor, and stack the plates in a corner when you finish working out. That way, you'll still have room to move around. Just think, you can work out and read between sets. That's what I used to do. Caveat: Don't be obsessed with training volume or diet while in law school. You have a new priority for the next three years. Law school sucks in some ways. But it is rewarding at times. Good luck.
