A stress fracture in there hip? I thought I strained a hip flexor, went into the dr office was seen by a pa...she confirmed the strain. she sent me to pt...2 days later i recieved a call from a dr, saying you need to come in immediately! I followed the drs orders, he proceeded to tell to get a bone scan!!!!! I was like wtf!!!! He told me i have a stress fracture in my hip, and if i continue to train it will become a regular fracture. The doc told that if that happends it would be a life altering event. something about lose of blood flow to the area and a partial hip replacement. he tried to give me crutches, but i walked out with out them.....
