anybody ever do kuk sool won??

anybody know kuk sool won korean martial arts
i was in it for 9 years
looking to maybe get something started

I took Kuk Sool Won for 2 years at the end of high school. It was a lot of fun and great exercise, but not my first pick as an effective "fighting art." It greatly resembles TKD but with more follow through and more power as opposed to quick snappy "point scoring" type strikes. My instructor who was kyo sa nim at the time was awesome. I believe he has since promoted even higher since that was almost 10 years ago.
