Anybody buy the Lord of the rings DVD???

This is why I steal movies, I bought the DVD wide screen edition about 20+ bucks. I'm watching some of the extra content and they advertise another "special edition" that comes out in nov. that has all kinda extra footage(extended scenes uncut).

If you guys are planning to buy this DVD, I'd go ahead and wait the the better version in nov.

It was a deliberate "trick" if you will. I just can't belive they had the balls to advertise it on the DVD you JUST bought.

My dad bought it. Has Elijah Wood, or whatever his name is, ever hit puberty? He looks like he's 12 in every film he is in.

Next DVD acquisition will most likely be Simpson's Season 2.

I agree, there is no reason to buy the DVD when a bigger and better version will be out in a couple of months. I still felt ripped off even though I didn't pay for the DVD myself.
