One word of advice, ALL of the things you've listed HAVE carbs, just because the label does not show it does not mean it's true. Most of them are "hidden" carbs and will most likely keep you out of Ketosis, while some may disrupt the Ketonic state. The only thing I would do to combat cravings is combine 5-HTP/ECA + PB/equal in it.

I know they have carbs, that's why I only eat half of the serving size to keep it safe.
That's also kind of the problem, i'm having trouble eating anything that tastes good that DOESN'T have carbs, that's why I asked for more recipes. what is 5-HTP/ECA + PB/equal in it.

5-HTP=supplement to prevent cravings
ECA=same as above but also blunts hunger

PB=assuming all natural peanut butter w/ EQUAL mixed into it

If you eat carbs, enough of them, you'll disrupt ketosis and start gaining bodyfat. So, I would recommend waiting until the carb-up to get all the carbs in.

I tried keto once and found pork rhines to be a really enjoyable snack. They're crispy and crunchy which is a quality you normally associate with carb rich foods such as chips or rice cakes. They also taste pretty good and are completely fat (and to my suprise not completely unhealthy fats either, infact out of 14g of fat only 2g were saturated fat). Of course the sodium content is a little high on them so don't go overboard. Most people I know won't touch the things since it's basically pig skin, but just think how many of us love to eat the crust off of fried chicken....and that's chicken skin....so what's the difference?

well i'm still in bulking will probably go on a ckd after i hit 250, at 220 right now, but i expect to be around 250 by late next year, just trying to absorb all the info i can on the ckd before i start.

I was also curious about these pork grinds, are there any hidden carbs in that? whats the rule of thumb to "see" hidden carbs?

bump for the pork grinds post.

Pork Rhinds have about 3-4 carbs per 3 servings, nothing hidden. Just make sure you watch the calories and fat/protein ratios w/ them.
