Why do you guys shave your heads?

Receding hairline? getting bald? easier maintenance?

I shaved my head for seven years. I let it grow back a couple of years ago. I'm about to shave it back off again due to the amount of grey hair I have.

Shaving can be a pain in the ass...plus you get razor bumps and shit...

and it seems more work too...

I would go with the buzz look....once a week should suffice...

Nah, I find it easier than shampooing and whatnot. I shave it everytime I shower, so like once a week. Ok, daily, but its not as much work as one would think. I could probably run a blade over my head faster than most of you could shampoo. I think I still have pics in my profile from when we had the last head shave thread.

I shaved last summer, mostly out of curiosity, but also for the easy maintenance. No bad hair days. I have no male pattern baldness symptoms, even at age 50.

Kept my head buzzed or shaved for a long time. Now I keep it fairly short 1/8" to 1/2" so I can still have low maintainence yet look somewhat professional.

I do not think I've ever seen a bald headed man I did not find sexy until I watched American Idol. The bald dude on there freaks me out for some reason. He looks kinda "elfin".

2) I'm told by many I've got one of those kind of heads
3) Easier maintenance
4) Meets military standards
5) Was beginning to lose some hair up there

i clipped it all through college, then i went through a "i gave a shit about having hair phase" few years....then i just got sick of all the work...and I hate my hair to begin with. so now, I am using a headblade or my sensor to keep it extra shiney...it's just easier.
