You will have little luck here bro. I very seldom see anything that shows courage around here.

Good place for advice on jeans, shirts, and make up.

free diving is the way to see more creatures, as for wreck dives i would be weary of them, my friend who dives alot dosent do many wreck dives, he does on the other hand to lots of cave dives, not sure why he does one over the other, but he said wrecks scare him. why not get into really deep diving with nitrox (sp?) ive never done a dive very deep (probally 75ft max) i got my padi cert a few years ago and havent gone on many dives since. but my friend loves the ability to dive really deep with nitrox.

Going spear fishing in two weeks in Fl,
I'm deep water certified, I've been on several deep water dives in Catmens and mexico

I'm having trouble clearing my ears for somereason. Hits about 13 feet, once I get the initial clear they pop fin all the way down to 60' no sinus proplems at all. I have to roll around and pop my jaw for 5 minutes to get the first pop, sux big time.

Ummm........nitrox becomes toxic around 165 feet or so.

Helium is used for the really deep dives bro.

Sassy69 is a scuba diving fool. I will bump this until she sees it.

My advice to everyone on this thread is to get the scuba diving lessons, put on a wetsuit and flippers and swim with a school of seals on the west coast somewhere. It'll be a blast.

Here are some pics of our last dive in Fl. We are diving a new wreck this time at about 75'. These are a few of the guys who are taking us.

This new wreck we are going to dive has several larger nurse sharks and bull sharks.

I would do the wreck or the cave diving instead of the ice diving. Sheesh man ice is cold. Also you shoudl get into spear fishing it is like hunting underwater all except after you shoot your prey you get a ride off of it. A blast.

So were you wreck certified or do you just do it?
if so, what did they teach you that makes you a wreck expert?

Just deep water certified. I don't think you need any special certification to dive over a wreck. Caves might be different though.

I wouldn't do caves and yes special trianing is needed or your likely to die. Running strings, back up everything etc. Ice diving, WHY? True ice diving is like cave diving. I like wreck diving. Deep diving, fun for the buzz but it's very dark and not much to see. I black water dive in SC and I found that to be a thrill. Night diving interesting because somethings only come out at night. Bad part is you can't see what's coming to eat you till it's very close to you. Had a 400 lbs. turtle come out of the darkness one night and I almost had a heart attack. He came straight at me and over my head by 2 or 3 ft.
