Im going to try out for a city team this year and want to know what Id expect from a 19 and under league in terms of games and practices,what should my fitness level be etc? I can get in top shape in like a month which is what I have,Im not in that bad of shape now just a sinus problem that prevents cardio

I would think you need to do your cardio, doesn't rugby involve continuous running up and down the field? Fatigue makes cowards of us all.
 
yupp definatly alot of cardio,Ill probably be a hooker as Im not big on running but can,so I want to play in the scrum
 
I played rugby league for years here in Australia and rugby as well.

As long as you've got your fitness to a decent level now, you will be ok. You can only get so fit, and then it's match fitness which will top you off. You can't replicate match fitness until you actually start playing.

Do some 400 m sprints if you like just to top you off, and alot of push/pull full body resistance type training which will mimick a ruck situation.
 
me and my buddy are planning to hook straps up to a small car and pull it on a friends property out in the country then turn around and pull it,that should build some strong ruck bodies,the sprints I will have to work on but shouldnt be a problem
