Any Rotc Cadets?

anyone on this forum going through the air force rotc? i am applying for it basically for financial reasons, hoping it might put me through med school debt free (if i go to med school). any advice anyone can give me?

Make sure you know the agreement in detail. Get it in writing and study it. After you get your degree, you'll probably owe the Air Force a certain amount of time. But many doctors love the military because they don't have to worry about malpractice insurance.

I think ROTC is a good idea. It is a good deal if you feel comfortable with their way of doing things. If things don't work out...not that big of deal.

The military lifestyle can be pretty good for those cut out for it. I was raised in a military family and my childhood was close to perfect. I would go th church and hear about heaven after death. I thought I had heaven on earth except for the jerks at school.
