I don't have the time or the energy to go into detail again so I'll make it short and sweet!
Basically our PR girl doesn't know the ins and outs just yet. So I had a complaint a while back, she said somethings her mouth shouldn't have said. Not meaning to be disrespectful, yet still soem shit she shouldn't have said.
I let it go... felt sorry for the chick cause you can clearly tell she's just winging this job.
So, some other shit (still brewing from the previous complaint) comes up. I struggled for over a month before I went back because Im not office trouble maker.. but then decided I wasn't gonna let an asshole run me off of a job that I like and make a decent living at. Also just overall tired of him doing this to everyone in the office and I'm the only one with balls to say something. so I went back to her. In turn she asked me to talk to my manager.
I was curious to the outcome or what ever was said or done, I made it clear that I only went to them 'for the record' I didn't expect a big deal to be made of it.
She has called me three times in the past few weeks to see if my manager has talked to me. yet he still hasn't. Now she's sitting there not knowing a damn thing thats going on past what i told her.
My question is, Is there some time frame in which to handle complaints? I would think that there would be. Shes worried that nothing will be done and then it will look bad on her if shit continues to happen because she has no paper work detailing everything.
Shouldn't she be contacting my manager, instead of me, to see if he's addressed the complaint?
I guess I should just sit in my office lined with grey walls, steel doors, non operable windows and overpriced laminate oak office furniture and shut my pie hole.
