I have done it. Years ago, a mocking bird was swooping at my head, it came after me into my house and flew back out real fast. I got so pissed that I picked up a rock in the yard and hurled it up into the tree. Perfect shot. The bird fell dead to the ground. The mate of the bird cried for days. It would make this awful whining noise all day long. After about 3 days, the bird vanished. I think it died of a broken heart. So I actually did kill 2 birds with one stone. Sad story, I actually feel bad about it.
