I tried it once, in the days before the board became flooded with mods. Got lots and lots of "thumbs up" votes.

What was a bit hypocritical in a reply I got was, "Sorry, we know you are a source." As if I didn't already know half the mods are sources or get their cut via referrals!

No regrets now. My feelings about open boards and sourcing have really changed, because I feel a wind coming and it won't be long before the Feds, including the FBI's Interpol ops center, bring the hammer down on the owners and mods, and of course, the fallout from ratting and narking.

What I think that we really need to do is put up applications on the board. All the existing mods will review them, then pass our opinions on to G for the final decision. You'll also need to submit a resume with cover letter and 3 photos (non nude for men, nude for women J/K)
