any luck with 40/40/20

Has anybody had any luck with the macro breakdown of
40% pro
40% card
20% fat

I'm curious to find out how effective it is.
I need to drop 15lbs. befor my cycle begins in Oct.
I went from 198lbs. in june to 230lbs.as of today.
That was from eating alot and lifting heavy compounds.
I want to feep as much of my gains as possible.
 
too many carbs for me, it would work if you do enouph cardio though. and keep your calories at 12cals per lb of bodyweight
 
That doesn't sound too bad to me.

If you're dieting to 12 kcal's per pound of bodyweight that's 2760 kcal's. At 40%, that is 276 grams of protein a day.

Not knowing what your maintence level is, I don't know if you'd lose 15 pounds in 6 weeks. You would need to be eating 1250 calories less than your maintenance level per day to achieve your goal.
