Any HRT Docs/Labs that work with Insurance?

Hi.... I have to be on HRT due to low levels but I can't afford to continue to pay out of pocket. My current lab does not work with insurance and since they are out of my state, my insurance goes berzerk about reimbursing me.

My family Doctor wants me to try someone local that will work with my insurance. I would appreciate it if someone would send me a PM with one of the preferred labs that will also work with our insurance. Thanks

That's like asking if acupuncture is covered by insurance. I can see when it's more accepted in a few years it may be, but no, not now. Unless you go through your GP... and good luck with that.

I hate to break the news to you but it is in fact covered and just what I ended up doing. There are many of us out here that actually have a mdeical reason for testosterone. Why else would they carry it at the pharmacy, if there was not a medical need for it.

I go to a TRT clinic that all they do is testosterone therapy and my insurance covers it. I just have a 15 dollar copay, but all my injections and lab work is covered.

It is a fact that many carriers cover HRT. It depends on how the Dr codes it.

Mine is covered, but I have to submit the claim. Your local compound pharm
would be a good source of info.
