New user to Elitefitness, but not to training gear.

Ive been training off and on (in typical increments) for the past 3 years. I have been working with different combos of deca, test, and dbol. Despite several efforts, I have yet to gain more than 10 lbs. When training, I eat like crazy, so I dont think calories is the issue. I am on a standard 3 day rotation with body part training. I use free wts and cables. I always take a day off after the 3 wt days. My wt schedules are usually 3 sets of 10 reps escalating - and I tack on a 4 set to exhaustion at the end (for each excercise). I usually do 3-4 exercises for each body part. I have completely cut cardio out, due to my lack of gains.

Other useful info: Im 30, 6'0", and about 190lbs. Body fat is very low. I tend to define fairly easy.


Any suggestions for supplements or workout is recommended.

Should I continue with deca, test, and dbol regimen?? If so, what doses and schedule should I use?? (The 3 times before, I used all three for the first 4 weeks, then dropped the dbol and continued the other two and picked up winstrol til the end of the 10 weeks.) Does the type of test make a difference??

Bro ive tried all the fancy combinations in the book. Personally i think if you dont grow off a straight test cycle at a decent dose your not gonna grow at all. I would hit some test and eat, eat, eat. Ive been on test E @ 1000mg weekly for nine weeks now and im up a lean 24lbs. Give it a go.
 
Make sure your gear is legit man. Test, Deca, Dbol and only 10 lbs?!?!?! Give me some more details about you cycle. length, mg, brand....
 
As far as your training goes, Fuck that 10 rep shit! If you wanna put on mass, drop the reps and increase the pounds. Start including a heavy squat and deadlift day in your routine. If possible start asking Powerlifters in your gym advice.
Also, if it's that hard for you to gain weight, change your diet. If you are as lean as you say you are, you could probably afford a little more fat calories in your diet. If you gotta throw a few burgers and fries in there to gain weight, then that's what you gotta do! :Chef:
 
Natty or juiced, you can't grow if you don't eat enough. Expressions like "calories can't be the issue" tell me that you don't know what your daily calorie count is. Once you know your daily intake, you can work to increase it in a controlled fashion.

Eat more than your body is burning off and you will grow. Be it fat or muscle you will grow.

Dont have the brands that I used last - been off for about 6 months. Golden Triangle was the deca. All was purchased through a guy that posts on here a lot - very reputable.

Cycle was:
dbol 60mg qd for the first 4 weeks
test e 500mg qw for 10 weeks
deca 500mg qw for 10 weeks
winny 50mg qod for last 4 weeks

Diet was:
4 scoops Isopure at 8am with 20oz skim milk
Two bowls of special k at work at 9am
PureProtein bar at 10am
Lunch at 12 - usually a tunafish sandwich, 20ox skim milk, bag -o- pretzels
Pureprotein bar at 1-2pm
4 scoops of Isopure at 5pm
Post-workout protein smoothie (800cal, 60g prot) at around 7pm.
Chicken/beef dinner with veggies at 8pm
4 scoops Isopure before bed at 11pm

Snacks, munchies, etc. were added whenever I wanted. I dont add body fat easily. Usually it was peanuts.

Looking at it written out, maybe I just need more calories (carbs and fat). Im pretty sure my protein intake is ok?
