If your cheap you can go to albertsons or walmart and pick up DEP, or LA Looks GEL (must be gel) and get the stiffest hold they have. Then get some hair spray, (the one i use to use was in a all black aiersol bottle, and had small green writting not sure of the name though.) and use the gel to style it and spray in the hair spray to hold it. This always gave me a wet look.

For the dry look Bumble and Bumble Sumo Wax or Nudey hair wax and for the wet look any type of gel with your hair still wet and what nbmplano said for xtra hold. gl

I second that. Put it in your hair when its semi wet or compelete dry.

It works great, I have really thick hair and it helps alot, plus no wet/greasy look.
