Any good nutrition books on how to eat when using gear?

On a more serious note than my last post. I was wondering if there are any good books or sites on how to eat when on and off the gear. I have a food count book and the FDA can kiss my ass if they think i'm going to follow thier guidelines for the average sedentary small male. If not i think i know what i'm going to do my master's project on.

Well, there really wouldn't be any ethical way to publish a book for people who are doing illegal drugs, now would there?

Also, you couldn't really read the muscle mags, because of all their propaganda.

So, you are left with guessing, experimenting with your own nutrition, boards like this one, other people's expericences, etc.

It seems the usual suggested guidelines are 1gram/protein/pound minimum. But some people just eat whatever the hell they want. Others say at least 2grams/protein/pound while on gear.

As for calories, that would depend if you are on a cutting cycle, bulking, and which drugs. Most people, for a moderate type of cycle, not really bulking (where some people suggest crazy calories like 7000/day) is something like 20-24xbodyweight.

I know these are all vague generalities, but to give you the answers you are looking for would require the athletes in the study to admit to drug use, which would open them up to all kinds of problems. Not to mention who would fund such a study.

I agree with you. I think the study could be pulled off by selecting a group of elite athletes and experiment with thier nutrition values and intakes. If the natural athletes grow off a certain percentage of protien, carbs, fats, and calories. We could correlate it to athletes using gear and maybe bump up the percentage a little to accomadate for the increased anabolic effect on the body. Maybe it would work. Thanks for the reply.

TxLong, you do have to eat 25cals per lb of bodyweight if you are to gain as much muscle as possible on a cycle. Now to consume this much food one must be running significat dose of gear. And yes, that is what the top boys are doing to gain as much muscle as possible, if one is worried too much about gaining fat from eating that much food, he can always throw in some t-3 at a low dose (25mg/ed) that will keep the fat down and increase the gains optained from AS.

No offense serge, but if somebody weighs 250, how much more help do they need? lol

I have never used t3, I don't know if I would notice a difference with a small dose when trying to gain muscle.

As far as eating, this has always been my biggest problem. After about a week of eating big, my hunger is gone. Good for not gaining too much fat when not on gear, bad for when you are on gear and want to gain muscle.
