Also try halibut if you can find it, very similar to tilapia. My personal choice for cooking is a light blackening (watch sodium) sprinkled on and cooked in a pan. Takes under 10 minutes.
halibut while a diner's favourite is abit on the expensive side
personally i find it bland but to each his own

just found canned yellowfin tuna 6 cans for 7.99 CAD
damn i love president's choice

You can get salmon in a can for 99cents. It has 84 grams protien per can and very little fat. The cheapest way is to go fishing yourself.

Acme (an Albertson's store) had the vacuum packed Tilapia filets & Wild Salmon filets for $1 a pouch....Whoooo!!

hey bros, forgetting the least expensive fish, well for me anyway, in La. Catfish, usually cheaper than any other fish..but like i said, maybe because of where i live..jc

I don't know where you guys get your catfish from in Canada, but 75% of the catfish sold in the U.S. in pond raised right here in Mississippi. Pond raised catfish are fed a special fish food and they live in fresh, clean water from underground wells.
