any FORMER steroid users?

if so, looking back on it what are your thoughts?

i've been off for 3 years now and it's tough... i have consistently hit the gym with little results... which i'm "happy" about.. i mean, i havent shrunk down too much, yet i'm not nearly as strong as i once was... i consider starting up again, but money, and health risks make me think twice...

do you miss it? how long have you been off? will you go back?

Was on and off for 8 years or so. As a result of that and my neglegence I no longer produce a normal test output. Been on HRT for almost 17 months now. Will never go back. Funny thing is all I do is add in 30 mg dbol/ed for a few weeks and it's like a cycle all over. Up 15 lbs in 3 weeks and went from 2 sets of 8 on heavy presses to 11 with ease. get so pumped I can barely do side raises for my shoulders. 2 more weeks of dbol then back to hrt dose which is now 250 test every 9 days. I am doing 375 test every 7 days for my "cycle". Lovin it!

doctor prescribed? i honestly believe i may have low test levels... how do i go about getting a script? i'm guessing if i tell the doc "hey doc, i'm a former user will you write me a script" he may do anything but.
 
i'd hope everyone who used in the past still works out for the most part, otherwise it was cheating... dont ask me how i come to that conclusion, i just do.

Im saying when i was in the dorm i had unlimited food, walking distance to the gym with time to do it. and lots of hots chicks arround for motivation.

cant respect someone who needs hot chicks for motivation... i know we're all motivated by something but external needs for this? that just cries out "hey look at me girls, i'm buff wearing my zoobazz training pants and drop down string tank"
 
dbol isn't permament gainer so screw it

Im going back on in a week lol I never do extreme cycles or anything but Ive yet to get where I want to be. FOr a long time I just wanted size, now I want healthy lean and cut look with at least a good portion of the strength I had. Guess its more about the looks now, so cutting cycle only now

i think eq is better.
 
Theron I really question if you know the first thing about roids man, for one eq and dbol are for completly differant things lol
 
I have never, I repeat never, taken anabolic steroids knowingly.

Amen! After my wife quit her six figure career to stay home with the kids (best move we ever made), my career went into overdrive. . .with the exception of two weeks at the beach every year and an occasional weekend here and there, I work HARD seven days a week. I'm very busy and the stress levels can get out of hand once in a while. There's only two activities that I engage in where I can completely clear my mind. . .one is the gym. . .you can guess the other. . .and I do both 4 or 5 times a week. :)
 
I'm getting off this shit after this one. I'm just starting to feel bad about it for some reason. Guilt I guess. 4.5 years or so off and on and I'm going to be packing it in. I went 7 months with no strength increases and felt fine with it. I was still at around 200 and 7-8%. It's my strength that takes the dive.
 
I am coming up on a year since I have touched anything. I was never a big user.
My test levels are real low now... 302ng/dl. I may be prescribed HRT.
Kind of ironic. I made the decision not to use anything again and to get healthy... only to be told I need to take stuff!
