Any else like Love and Rockets?

I was listening to Express Remastered today, and I thought I loved these guys. I saw them in florida twice, once with jane's addiction as the opening band, and once with the butthole surfers. This woulda been around 87 or so. Anyway, I thought today, listening to the remaster, I like these guys, what fun! Anyone else like L&R? I used to love bauhaus back then too, but I'm afraid that didn't hold up so well with time as L&R, even though Bauhaus gets the official nomiker of "godfathers of goth". Any other L&R fans?

You are freaking kidding. I saw Love and Rockets with Janes Addiction as the opening band in Florida in 87. Nope it was 88 I think. I went to FSU. Yes Love and ROckets rocks!

That's the exact one. That was unbelievable. Jane's was unsigned and they were selling cassette tapes of what would become pigs in zen. No one knew them and they blew the roof off the joint. But perry was so high and pumped at the end of the set he started chopping on those ropes that hold up the tent at janus and security dragged him off because they thought he was going to kill us all Then came the smoke and love and rockets erupted with express kundalini i think right as the acid kicked in . . . lol dude that may be one of the tighter shows I've ever seen, certainly top 5.
