Any Drummers Here?

VicTusDeuS

New member
I just bought a cymbal off of e bay for $20.00. Pretty good steal since a brand new one would set me back atleast $150.00. Its pretty dirty and spotted...Does anyone know any way to clean this thing so I can make it match??
Thanks
.

Single stroke roll....into a double paradiddle..speeding up to a paradiddle...into a double stroke roll.....stop with a flam....start up again slow with a six stroke roll...now to a five stroke roll...into a paradiddlediddle......(very tricky) and stop with a flam....

something to practice is a flam paradiddle....... pretty neat but hard to do fast.......

Nope... never played in my life............

:)

I know Kryp2o doens't play the drums... but he blows a mean skin flute...........

Rimshot---then cymbal oooohhh yah !!!!!!!!:D

no don't use brasso,it will eat away at your cymbal after a while.I know from experience.Use this stuff from local drum store,or even kragen, pep boys automotive,I think it's called all brite or ever bright. It comes in a canister thats full of moist cotton that you use to shine them up,Nothing will get rid of the fingerprints, and stains without eating up your cymbal.Perkele is not a drummer!!!

Flam paradiddles are easy. For a real challenge, try flammed 5-stroke rolls, alternating the sticking on each roll.

Or try polyrythms, for example playing quintuplets on one hand and quadruplets on the other hand.

But I'm all talk. :) I used to play years ago, but I have no chops anymore.

Flam paradiddles were hard for me to pick up......Now a flammed 5 stroke roll is interesting...and the 5 stroke should be alternated anyway... now..polyrythms......are impossible to me... I have a hard time grasping the concept.... I really need to learn drum tablature............
