Any Cronenberg Fans Here?

I've been a fan since age 12.
always liked independent horror and cronenberg
is king IMHO. i love his mainstream stuff but
scanners ,the brood, rabid and videodrome are
my faves.

"spider" is a brilliant flick about an extremely
rare form of schizophrenia. true life horror
that transcends anything that stephen king
has done or ever will do.

"history of violence" is a recent movie that
reminds us that cronenberg is a unique and
brilliant filmmaker.

didn't he do european promises.

that was a raw and gritty and unique european mob flick.

eastern promises.....oh yeah.

great movie with that offbeat "cronenberg edge"

he has a fresh, unpolished style that works even on jaded premises.

the fight scene in the shower was one of the best i have seen.

Wasn't that around the same time you started taking it in the ass?

hate hate hate thats all you do!

puddles, you are bitter and empty.

lortabs and twinkies have conspired to make you a mean, hateful bro.

i will not dignify your HATE with a response.

i will, however, be there for you, when you start the healing process.

OMG that fight scene in the shower was f'n brutal. More brutal than American History X's rape scene.

no doubt!

check out his other movies.

cronenberg is highly underrated.

back in the day, he would put excess violence in his movies
so when the MMPA got a hold of it, there would still be plenty!

You should watch the original (directed by Christian Nyby, produced by Howard Hawks), it was said to have set the hallmark for the proliferation of crossover dialog (introduced by Hawks and standardized by Spielberg).

The Fly is still his best.
