I have been Bartending for 9 yrs I make about 800-1100 per week, I work 4 nites per week for a total of about 28 hrs per week. not bad, I think

do you ever find it kinda sad that your a legal drug dealer. I was thinking about doing for part time $$$ but I find it kinda revolting in a weird way.

I make about 100-200 a night 300 if its some kind of holiday where people like to go out. Ive also made 50 on crappy nights. Its definitely a fun job though, and Im a night person so I like the hours.

I bartended for over 10 years and yes it was fun and did have it's perks...but in the end it leads you nowhere. You go to sleep at 3:30 (that's if you don't get caught up in the after hour party scene-bad news) you wake up at noon, go to the gym, get a few errands done...then it's back to the bar.Yes the money is pretty good and if your good looking you'll always get laid, but the money gets spent and the chicks are usually not the type you can bring home to mom. Here's the thing...it's a tough gig to get and once you get it...it's a tough gig to get out of. I suggest finding a more stable job that has a future something you can grow with. Unless you plan on owning a bar or nightclub where having bartending experience is a necessity...stay on the side of the bar that doesn't have rubber mats.

I cocktail waitress sometimes work the bar ... on the bar it is a least a few hundred. On the floor really depends on the the crowd can be as much or more.

I bartend parttime - I also have a fulltime day job. I like it, well the money that is. a few hundred on a good night. I was a doorman - well still am but if I can i try and get behind the bar since the money is much better than checking id's

As stated above.. great money, beautiful girls, connections for virtually everything, late nights and partys. However, it gets old quick. Im 22 and have been doing the high volume nightclub scene for just under 2 years and im already looking to get out. Its a good partime gig but it makes for a rough career.
