Any bartenders here?

I'm thinking about becoming a part time bartender and was wondering if anyone here does the same. How's the money, hours, work, etc.? I have no experience, so I assume getting a job is going to be a bitch. Any suggestions?

I bartended for a few years during school. It's fun but also exhausting. And if you're donig it at a nightclub, it can become more of like lifestyle than a job. I didn't see daylight for about 4 months when I was doing it fulltime...

Tips are ok. If you're a cute girl, they're even better.

If you don't have experience, it will be tough to find a job. However, if you start out as a busser, you'll probably get kicked up to bartender within a month or so.

Remember, it's not the kind of job for everyone. I enjoyed it while I did it, but you couldn't pay me enough to go back to it.
