just out of curiosity what are those.

They were prescribed to me for anti-anxiety they must be used together one works as a bridge for the other to get past the blood/brain barrier

Sounds like you are anxiety prone if you have it even before youve started a cycle, which can make it worse. Lorazapam is the best for totally kicking the anxiety short term aka Ativan. You get a sweet nice complete break from the feeling so you can get some rest energy, because back it will come. If this is just a difficult time in your life then Ativan can help. But if you have an underlying chem imbalance you'll need to look at other classes of med like ssri's or tricyclic antidep.and others to help

I think this will cure you, but you may not like it.

1. You will have to give up all juice and stimulants including caffeine.
2. Serzone is a good choice, but make sure it does not change your weight -- many gain bad weight on it.
3. Wellbutrin SR may be a good choice as well. I might consider it before the Serzone because you have tried many SSRI's and not responded.
4. You will need a benzo like Xanax -- the one I prefer -- or you can look into the others. Make sure if you try Xanax you get strong enough tabs -- doc's act like the stuff is heroin.
5. You must begin weekly talk therapy.
6. Look into light therapy search for Apollo light box. This is helpful.

I realize this is a lot of work, but unless treated aggressively, anxiety tends to get worse and can become debilitating.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

What Mr. Spellwin posted is an ABSOLUTE necessity!!! Please try the therapy. Many look to the easy way out thru drugs, but unless you get to the root of the anxiety, they will fail to work eventually. I attended some sessions for only a couple of weeks and I'm profoundly better. Not that this short time frame is typical, but with understanding the causes and by learning breathing techniques - I'm enormously better. Anxiety - will never go totally away (everyone gets anxious at certain times/situations) but learning how to control it will change your life! I can even get back to the gear now. When I feel the symptoms coming from the gear, I now know what is causing the feelings and start controlling them immediately. The “attack” ends up being no bigger that the buzz I get from a couple cups of coffee!

Wanted to make sure I threw in my opinion. I have had anxiety for two years and gone through all those drugs you mentioned. I finally started using serzone at 400mg. a day. It has worked extremely well, in fact I am almost anxiety free after a few months. I know it sucks to keep trying medicine, but serzone is different from paxil, effexor and all the other ssri's, in fact it is in a different class. I have had 0 side effects and no weight gain. I started a cycle last month after waiting like you and feel fine. I hope this helps you.

Has anyone stacked Serzone with Wellbutrin? I hear that is a fantastic combo.

Although I don't really have anything to "add," I'll say this: Get to the root of the problem before attempting to deal with any of the "branches."

I've never really experienced anything that's been described, or tried any of the drugs, but I hope you find what works for you...

Best of luck gettin' back on track!
