Anti-estrogens while on deca.

Hey!

I am a bit confused I have started doing my homework on roids, Deca in particular. There is something however that i cant seem to get to the bottom of.
regarding prevention of side effects like gyno, etc on a deca cycle, i see that some people claim that clomid and tamofixen ( nolvadex) will not help prevent those kind of side effects. I`ve heard that Bill Roberts, which is supposed to be an expert on this has made that assumption. However in another article called :

A: Yes, tamoxifen should be better. The antiaromatase activity is indeed useless for nandrolone. Mesterolone might have other antiestrogenic activity besides that though. Don't know for sure (the answer is not in the scientific literature.)

By the way, how does nandrolone aromatize?

Hydroxylation by one of the cytochrome p450 enzymes, followed by an elimination reaction (fast chemical step.)

It would seem like he contadicts himself here...
does anyone have anything to contribute here, to clear this up for me??

Im a beliver that nolva will help on a deca only cycle, because it decreases estrogen in the body. I also belive that deca gyno will only happen if it is stacked with another steroid.

Deactivation of estrogen's effects through the use of Nolvadex should prevent any gyno while using Deca. It does for me. The alleged progesterone activity of Deca will not cause gyno without the estrogen catalyst. I took 600mg/week of Deca with 400mg/week of EQ with Nolvadex (@ 20mg/day) and had no symptoms of gyno.

you may be right but it won't prevent the adverse effects on libido. for that you need dostinex, or bromo...why not kill two birds

Prolactin "supressants" are good while on tren but won't hold true with deca as it increases progestins ...

why wouldn't prolactin blockers work with a progestagenic? Progesterone is progesterone or am I wrong?
