Another steroid show on ESPN

Anyone catch the steroid special a little while ago on ESPN? Some of it was pretty funny, like when one of the so called experts said that using steroids can cause high pitched voices...lol. Then some of the players were talking about how much faster they recovered while on gear. WOOooo sounds dangerous to recover faster. Dr. Fost came out and set the record straight on some of the myths of steroid use, like pointing out that there was no evidence that Lyle Alzado's brain cancer was linked to juice. That Doc was a stand up bro. I'm suprised they aired his interview.

Well, they are prescribed medical products, so obviously they serve a purpose and a medic isn't going to criticise their use in the same way that they might criticise some pot-head having a smoke and fucking his brain cells up. Fucking pot-heads - giving us AAS users a bad name!

True for some doctors, but the media and congress have most doctors wrapped around their nuts bashing steroids. It's good to hear a doc in the media who is actually giving it straight.

That was great. They actually showed both sides instead of just bashing them. Yeah I'm surprised they showed that doctors interview also. He pretty much debunked a lot of old rumors about athletes having health problems because of steroids. Good show.

Yeah, I saw the show. Dr. Fost said if he were commisioner he would sanction gear so everybody could do it at the same amount. Meaning you could only get your hands on so much. It would be a level playing field. He also noted that baseball isn't a level playing field now because the Yanks have a 200 milion dollar payroll and the Brewers have 39 million.
