Another shark attack in Galveston

3 last year and 1 this year so far. I was just there about a month ago. I heard the girl lost her foot. My kid is not going back in that water. THere hadn't been an attack in 10 years before last year.

Texas. You've never heard of Galveston? Glen Campbell sang a song about Galveston. A hurricane killed 20,000 people (I believe) in 1900, so they built a seawall that is about 20 miles long.

about 40mi south of houston. its an island on the gulf coast. needs improvements.

Nah I heard it from my hunnie and other people. It sucks.. there ain't any good beaches around in TX. I heard that south padre island is good though..isn 't?

Probably a bull shark or a sand shark.

I've heard bulls can be agressive and frequently come into shallow water. The sandies in Jersey don't have teeth. Is the gulf that nasty?
