i posted this response to BM'S thread about cheating; thought it deserved it's own thread.

elite ladies: if your husband/boyfriend has a relationship with another man, is this cheating?

One girl I went to law school with recently divorced her hubby. A gay guy in our class said he knew 100% that the man was swinging the door both ways. His gaydar was confirmed: One night they went out and the hubby was making overtures with another man. It was hilarious. The wife didn't have a clue.

Rumor is he tried to have a 3 sum, but wanted another man there. We all think that is why they got divorced. She was a hawtie too and a nice girl. He looked like Christian Bale so you all can fantasize about that.

I didn't answer your question. My bet is that most women would not accept it. Some might find it kinky though.

lol um....yes, definitely cheating. Plus I'd feel used, and stupid, because obviously in that situation, he's gay and I'm his beard.

a relationship more than friends?
yes, that's cheating.

It's so strange how some would accept a wife with another woman to be somehow "ok" but if she is with another man it is cheating and *gasp* to consider your husband with another dude = horror.

My exhusband's brother was gay so we would often to places that were patronized by mostly gay men. These guys were AMAZING! Hot, HOT, HOT!!! Impeccably dressed, buff bods, witty conversationalists, funny... Made me wish I was a dude. And yet I could have been buck ass nekkid wearing a sign around my neck that stated, "FREE blowjobs" and NO ONE would have noticed. It was the strangest feeling in the world to be completely invisible while all these fine men were all over my husband. LFMAO Were we in a tittybar or hooker convention I could have cared less but THAT situation I found to be very unnerving. I mean, even though my ex was straight (I guess, who knows for sure) I felt like there was NO WAY I could compete... odd, odd, odd... :worried:

Jealous! lol

As a female we quickly get used to feeling like chum in a tank of sharks, that is the nature of male/female interactions from very early on. To even try to deny it is ridiculous. As a grown woman to experience anything different REALLY put my perception of the world and my place in it akilter... (if that is even a word LOL).

My Old Grump is often approached by women of all ages, some not so attractive, some way old but MOST definitely young and beautiful... all wanting to either rub his head, or stroke his beard or sit on his lap... "mind if my gf takes our picture?" I am NOT KIDDING. When we went out this past weekend to Dick's Last Resort it happened no less than 3/4 times! And it was like I wasn't even there. LOL Scenarios like that, I can handle, no problem. I mean, why would I want to be with a man that no other female wants? But to have the tables turned in gender/bender situations... THAT WAS WIERD.

My husband has told me many a story where the boys battin for the other team would half tease him by saying, "Jesus Christ Pappy, dumb the bitch and make the switch already." hehehehehe He found it to be a somewhat flattering invitation, but passed (or so he says LOL). One thing I am certain of is that my husband is DEFINITELY a lesbian trapped in a man's body so I've really nothing *to fear* from any other man. :lmao:

yes, there is still a "double standard" when cheating is involved... :laugh2:

I dunno whether it is the whole penis thing that decides whether or not it's cheating. I've heard the woman who is stepping out on her husband state, "Well it's not like I want to fuck anybody else." Ummmm so because there is no penis between us it somehow is NOT sexual and emotional infidelity?

Explains why you aren't married yet and *insanely happy* bout it. Must feel good to finally come out of the closet. :lmao:

And miss 'i wanna sleep with another woman and it's not cheating' wins the self-righteous award kids! lol!

Oh look BM, a dancing cage!

people in glass houses....

WTF are you talking about? Who is advocating anything? In my book, regardless of the sex of the individuals engaging, even an emotional forey is cheating. CAN'T YOU READ?

You are the one who volunteered that *you musicians* regularly engage in homosexual sex, but that you just "don't talk about it."

And,

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SAID YOUR PARENTS LET YOU WATCH THEM HAVING SEX... NOT ME.

All I said was, "Thanks for sharing and it explains a lot (about you)." :whatever:
