Another One Bites The Dust

In keeping up with BBF's track record for going through women like red underwear, I too, have had a promising relationship turn south.

I was on the phone with him Saturday night, and he was chatting about his schedule of work and school, and how we needed to schedule our time together in order to see each other.

I had no idea that love, or a relationship, needed to be scheduled.

Granted, he is very busy with work and school, and on a logical level, I understand the need to schedule in movies, dinner and sex, but on an emotional level, I don't feel that "we" need to set up a desk calendar so I can be penciled in along with his research and work duties.

So it might look something like this 12-1pm, lunch
1-2pm, schedule conference
2-3pm, invite attendees
3-4pm, draft office policy
4-5pm, gym
5-6pm, dinner
6-7pm, drive to DC
7-7:05pm, sex with FBDC
7:05-7:15pm, shower

You get the idea.

Not to get into details, the sex with him is pretty quick, but that's not the point.

The point is do I want to put up with feeling like I am apart of his One Minute Manager schedule or not. Sometimes you gotta be a little flexible and spontaneous to keep things interesting.
