Playmate loses battle of wills

THE 9TH U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Los Angeles yesterday overturned an award of $88.5 million to former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith from the estate of her late husband, an oil tycoon who died at age 90 just over a year after they wed. A Texas probate court's decision that the oilman's son was his sole heir will stand.

"I'm very pleased by the judgment issued by the 9th Circuit upholding my father's wishes," the son, Pierce Marshall, said in a statement. A call to Smith's lawyer was not immediately returned

Anna nicole smith is worth alot more than people think. She plays around with the dumb image while in fact it is all an act to get her more publicity. This has helped get her name out in the spotlight which is exactly what she wanted. Any publicity is better than no publicity and at the end it all ends up with a higher income and a bigger public name.
