Ankle Surgery

I posted this yesterday in the med section with no replys and thought I might get more input in hardcore. Any advice or personal experience would be very helpful. Thanks!

I'm 34yrs 6' 210 and just under 10%bf and I just dislocated my ankle tearing the ligaments and breaking the fibia. I have surgery scheduled this week and the sports doc says it will be 4 to 5 months before I am 100%. He told me last year he had a pro football player with the same injury playing at 100% in 4.5 months. I am ex-military and do private security work overseas and I need to recover asap for a contract. I am thinking about starting a cycle after the surgery but wanted to get some input from others before starting anything. I want to stay in thhe 210 to 215 range and basically get as strong as possible while healing. I am trying to find anyone who has done a cycle while rehabilitating, what you may have used, and how soon you started? Thanks in advance for any input!

I fractured (compound) my ankle about 1 1/2 years ago. I was out for about 6months from work. I waited about 4 months before I started trying to workout on it. I still have to do extra sets on the injured leg to get it to catch up with the other. I guess your other leg gets use to carrying more of the burden and doesn't know when to quite.

bro, i had a motorcycle wreck 5 months ago, i just got my mri back last week, i completely dislocated my ankle also, two completely torn ligaments, one partially ruptured, also broke my talus, they are going to have to graft bone from my hip and screw it to my talus along with a cast for 8 weeks and a bone stimulating machine to "hopefully" make sure it grows back, i may never be able to run again, so im right there with you, nothing we can do about it bro, just sit out the eight weeks, get back to the gym for upper body, do your physical therapy and hope for the best, i haven't even been able to go to the gym, i had to have a plate and two screws put in my left wrist also, so i've been out for a long time

I had the surgery one week ago today and everything is going great. I was released to start rehab today and rode an incumbant bike for 15 min on level 3 at 100 rpm which took me 3.79 miles, after I did a chest workout which was great to finally get back in the gym. Overall everything is going excellent with my wounds healing well and little pain. They have me in an air cast rather than regular with a plate and mulitple screws in the fibia. The ligament I tore was on the inside of my ankle so incisions on both sides. I have a small brace that I can wear with my running shoes that gives me support and I'm bearing weight on the ankle while still using the crutches. They tell me next week I can go to one crutch for one week and then no crutches the week after. My stitches from the op will come out next Wednesday which will be great! I am amazed at the freedom the doc has given me to workout but they specialize in sports injurys so I'm sure that has alot to do with the speed of my rehab.

I would like to start a cycle in the next few weeks after the wound is healed and the risk of infextion is down. My thoughts are for something with prop as a base and from there I thought about some winstrol and mabey eq with normal ancillarys. I have over ten cycles under my belt and wondered what everyone thought would be best. I know this thread is running long but I want to thank everyone for their input!
