Since the posession of the chemicals needed to make GHB are NOT illegal, they have NOTHING on him, unless they also found items for making them into GHB. In that case they could charge him with "Conspiracy to Manufacture a Controlled Substance". That is basically the Governments "Trump Card" charge, when nothing obvious is onhand to justify actual "Manucaturing" charges. Conspiracy charges are SO far reaching, that they could bascially get you for just talking about it with a friend on a tapped phone if they wanted to and had nothing else on you. Someone tell me that we live in a "Free Society" here now so I can laugh my ass off!!
