I never seen the point of doing half squats when full squats are so much superior in both muscle development and also easier on the joints.

Not so much even chest but bigger upper-body and tiny legs. Like being a cartoon superhero is their goal. I don't see the point of half squats especially involving a smith machine. Cheers, Scotsman

C coreyb New member Sep 5, 2007 #6 There are SO many of these types in my gym these days, and after their sets they walk around all tough. As far as I know, having an undeveloped lower body pretty much makes you a weakling.
