Condit is a Congressman who was banging a few chicks on the side (being a "family values" type of hypocrit). One of the women, Chandra Levy, has gone missing since May and there is a deep suspicion that Condit may have had something to do with it. He stalled detectives during the early stages of the investigation, lying through his teeth and scrambling to save his political ass.
