Anavar

Hello ! I'm a newbie . I have been working out hard and heavy for a couple years . Was approached about trying Anavar . Have read a lot . Am hoping to hear results from real people . I'm 5'5" 120 lbs . Workout 6 days a week weight training cardio about 3 days a week .
 
Give some more info. Do you want to compete, bodyfat%, diet, goals and age. Lots of experienced ladies here at elite.

I'm 36 yrs old . Have competed . 11% body fat . My fitness goals are to gain some more muscle. I eat very clean . Did two shows last year and did very well . Hope to compete more . Hope I didn't forget any info :)
 
Wow, 11% bf. I figured you competed by your avatar...nice abs. You should get some good responses soon. (You are ahead of me so I'll yield to the more experienced ladies).

Thank you ! I have competed . And would like to do more ! Of course I wanna be my best . And come in even better . I have never tried any form of supplement . When researching I kept pulling up these forums . And am thankful I came across it ! Great info so far !
 
Hey welcome aboard , yeah you have an amazing figure !,
I've used var with great results best starting out 5mg a day for few weeks to check for sides then if alls well you could add 5mg more , with your bf% you should see some super results with even 5mg.

From your avatar you have done amazing work so far very postive you will have great gains at 5mg a day and unlikely to have many sides at that dose.

I think it's always good to be wary. :)

5mgs a day to start would be a good way to go, just to get a feel for it and keep risks of sides lower. Keep in mind, sides usually appear further down the road so if you don't see anything after a week or two in terms of negative sides, it's better to wait and err on the side of caution. I've seen good success with var and personally would never dose it over 10 mgs/ day but that's my own preference. I'd stay away from the EOD dosing too. I think it defeats the purpose and would run a shorter cycle instead of EOD dosing.

Idk how to put pics on . Oh!! Do I need to do anything diff with my nutrition ? I'm following a nutrition i used to get ready for a show last year . Thanks !!
 
If your goal is to gain some muscle, I'd structure the nutrition to fit that. So eat at maintenance or slightly above. You won't see the same results, size wise, if you eat with too large of a deficit. You will still see some strength gains, most likely, but not the same growth.
 
I sd prolly add it all up . Lol may just need to increase my protein a bit . Does caffeine intake affect it at all ?? I don't drink a lot . But do have coffee every am and the occasional energy drink .
 
Do women have to do a pct after an anavar cycle. My mom wants to run an anavar cycle but me being a guy I only know how to run a cycle for myself

Hey I would be lost without my AM strong coffee lol no its fine it's Actually proved to work well in small doses with bodybuilding.
 
On m-w-f I train a client from 6-7 am. I'm not ready to eat so I put 1/2 scoop of protein powder in my coffee. Gives my my pep and a little something in my stomach. MUST have my coffee.

I have tried protein in all kinds of things . Def never in coffee . I will have to give that one a try . What flavor ?? Lol
 
Another question. I am only 4 days in and swear I felt different during my workout today ?? Is it all in my head ? Or cd it be the anavar already . Thanks everyone :)
 
All people are different but when I fist started out on low dosage I could feel it near enough from the off , but worst case scenario it could be in your head either way that would be a bonus because you got a head start lol!!

Hello all :) just wanted to say I'm almost a week into my cycle . Not a lot to report so far . I've had a lot of stress at home . So energy level is lacking . I see lots of workout logs on here . And guess I better start one. Hoping next week is less stress and better sleep :) hope all is well for everyone !!

About 3 years ago i was a solid rock but now due to a surgery that left me bed ridden ive gained 30lbs. Ive recently started my 6 meal a day routine and a 3 night a week work out routine. I have heard that anavar will shred me quicker and give me more muscle strength. is this true? and if so how should i start off or is there anything better?

Var will increase muscle strength but like any steroid, it's not a fat burner and so it won't necessarily shred you. What it will do is preserve lean muscle when calories are restricted and will help you build muscle, which in turn can change your body composition. It also can make your overall appearance look "tighter".

I'm looking to start var here in the near future. My bf said it would be my best bet for adding mass and looking toner. My bf is on a cycle right now and he has mentioned it to me. I have lost 50 pounds just by changing my diet and being more active. I have done some research on my own but can't really find a good routine to follow to make it to my full potential. My bf doesn't really know what to tell me to do. Any suggestions? I'm new to this too, I went from 184 pounds to 135 pounds, I'm 5'3. And he has tried to help me with my diet, but that's a work in progress too.

Hey welcome. I think the best thing to do would be start a thread on here with all your stats , goals and a typical diet. From there we can all help with different aspects also that thread could be the start of you log towards your goals. Keep logging you progress it's so easy to slip otherwise but when it's there in black and white i find it's far better. Hope to hear from you soon chic.

Thank you. I actually started a thread over in the women section, but never got a response. I definitely agree, I sometimes need a push to get going, but once I'm going its all downhill. I just need advice, I don't want to do anything counter productive, ya know. I'm still learning.

Honestly if you do that I'm sure you won't be disappointed we all needed help at some point and started this way, until I joined EF and got my questions on here I would say I knew 80% less than I do now and for a year and a bit that good going!!

I had been reading a few threads on here and have gathered some insight to a few things I need to do but only feel about 60% there. I know if I have questions, and I ask them, I would get them answered.

Are you looking for a weight lifting routine or the diet routine? or both?? lol

I would hold off on the var until you have those things narrowed down, as starting it without everything else in place, would be counter productive.

Thank you, I tried really hard. I have an idea of what my diet should be, and what a workout routine should be, but I'm just not sure because I don't want to do too much of 1 and not enough of the other. I need to figure out how to find the balance. and I need guidance my ex does the 6 meals a day you know chicken rice a vegetable, but there is no way that I need to eat as much as he eats he's trying to build and cut I'm just trying to build a little bit of muscle cuz I local downey and skinny now that lost 50 pounds. I guess I need advice on both. somebody mentioned crossfit to me before and I look into that but I'm not really sure how well that would work out.

I am back on tract with my workouts...planning on competiting this summer. I on var 5mg/day for about 3 week. And will add Primo to that once it gets in my pretty little hands :)
I cant decided to run them side by side or do Primo free and them maybe add the var back in. I plan on doing 50mcg/week primo. Any thoughts

- 5mgs is more than enough to get great results. If you are not getting them it is not the dose it is your meal plan and/or routine. 10mgs can be used down the road. See how you respond to a run of 5mgs first.
- Var does not shred anyone. It adds lean muscle. That can stimulate your metabolism. To maximize this your meal plan should be spot on.
- I highly recomend anyone doing their first cycle to start a journal in this forum. It will allow other women to see how you eat and how you workout. It will also keep you on track. Lastly, it will allow others to offer tips to save you time and to keep you from making mistakes they have made.

This is where I'm lost, the meal plan. I've done some research and I've found different things. 3 meals a day, 4 meals a day, ugh, this is so confusing.

Right now I'm just trying to narrow down what would be best for me. I am not one of those people who can eat the same thing every day. I've found a few things out about what I need to eat. I'm just looking to full out more, I'm not looking to get huge, just more proportionate, I guess.

Yea, thats the part that's going to get me the doing it alone part. I have a hard time keeping myself accountable. Lol. I will give that a try, ill get a journal, write it all down and post it.

Anyway, radar gives some good advice in types of foods to eat rather than a specific diet, so if you're not comfortable eating the same things everyday, you could at least choose from his list of options. I found it to be really useful when I was mapping out my own diet.

Are you taking about the "so you want to build muscle and loose fat" post? If so search for that. I think that's what you're talking about.
 
Not a problem. It helped me out alot. I thought that's what they were talking about.

Yea this is what I was talkin about. Just something to give me an idea. I'm excited to get this going into full gear, I've lost the weight now just to maintain.

I quit the cycle for now . Have some family stresses that are priority. Training and nutrition weren't what they should be nor have I been sleeping . I def want positive results . So when life calms down I will start back up . Kinda bummed . But don't wanna waste the anavar !! That's for sure . Thank u so much for asking :) hope all is going well for you !!
 
Im a guy thinking of trying Anavar ... does that make any sense if you dont want something really complex. The stuff they usually rec on the guy forums is pretty heavy duty. Just a thought ... read somewhere 80 mg for a man had some advantages. Thought it might help with some hard gaining chicken legs ...

I think that's a wise decision. I've been wanting to start a cycle too but just haven't been able to eliminate enough stress to completely get my act together!! Getting there but not quite. I hope things settle down for you. Hang in there! :)
