Anavar Only - post cycle

Quick update:

Completed my first cycle in December 2003:

Wk 1-8: 30mg/day anavar
Wk 9-10: 20mg/day anavar
(2000 mg in total)
High protein intake, 10-15g/day creatine, moderate carbs and lots of H20
Trained steady and very intense

PCT: 1000-2000 mg/day Tribulus, 15g/day creatine, zinc/magnesium supp's

Gained: +13 lbs (majority lean body mass)
Strength increases in all lifts
Sides: some small acne (shoulders) appeared mid cycle (cleared up with lots of soap, water, neutragena and tanning)

Current: Still up +12 pounds plus majority of strength
Hopefully with steady training and good diet it's looking like these gains will be permanent.

In retrospect the only thing I would do different is run the cycle shorter (6 weeks). Most of the gains came in the first 4-6 weeks and I did not see much additional benefit past week 8.

Now to decide what direction to go next for this summer. EQ seems to be quite favorable for quality gains and low sides, maybe EQ/anavar with some proviron for extra hardness?
 
did you have any acne during pct? DId you try taking b5 or anything else to prevent it? Do you think 20-30mg ed is enough? I am thinking about doing my first cycle 20-25mg ed for 6 weeks, and the only thing thats holding me back is having a potential acne outbreak.

Did you have it when you were a kid? DO you have oily skin?
 
No - I'm not prone to acne in general.

I started to notice it coming out mid cycle on my shoulders (whole bunch of small pimples). That's when I really began to use soap and water a couple times a day combined with some neutragena pore cleansers. The tanning really helped.

It seemed to stay away through PCT.

20-25 mg should give your workouts a very nice boost. If your diet and training are strict then you should make some solid gains on a six week cycle.


** Keep you protein intake high and consume evenly throughout the day. I mixed some protein powder in a 2L water jug and sipped all day long (on top of my 6 high protein meals) to ensure I had a constant supply of amino's in my system for the anavar.
 
do you recomend running any kind of PCT therapy after a six week cycle? Also did you have any problems with your hair?
 
I think PCT in some form is always a good idea.

For this light cycle I think a combination of herbals (tribulus, avena) for a couple weeks would be sufficient. 25mg/day Proviron would be an added precaution and help harden you up at the same time - this is my plan for next go around.
 
Yeah I'm doing 25 mg a day for 4 weeks and 40 mg a day for week 5 and 6 and training hard so I hope I see some good gains as well. I'm a first time user and I'm running a var only cycle with hard training and lots of protein.
