My friend at the gym was looking red faced and seemed edgy the last few times i seen him . i said dude what are you pumping he told me he added anavar at 80mg ed to his test stack for 6 weeks i told him to watch for high blood pressure.

he went to walmart and check is B/P well sure enough he is 147 over 65. he about shit a brick when he saw it i asked him what it was 3 weeks ago he told me 123 over 71 so its went up almost 25 points in 3 weeks .I suggested him drop it down to 40mg to 60mg a day for a week and see if things get a little better and if not consider not taking it all.He also told me when he sleeps he wakes up in puddle of sweat and its every scince he started the anavar.Plus I noticed he is sweating all over the benchs at the gym like a greasy pig and he stinks like one

my question is any thing he can use or do to lower it and still use anavar?

depending on his arm size, if it's over 17", that machine is not going to be accurate at all. He should have it checked by a physician, or purchase one of the wrist bp monitors. (best investment ever made). I too had my bp go beyond that on the 6th wk of anavar @ 40mg. I stopped and started PCT. I thought it was best than to just drop the dosage for another wk. That was the only side, but my body was taking a toll, so it's best to be healthy in the long run. :)

way too many variables going on here..

how long after lifting did he take his bp? where did he take his bp?

his bp really isnt that bad. mine sits at 135/80.

i had a similar problem with anadrol. but i split the doses into smaller, more frequent ones throughout the day. it's worked well.

the scary part is he took his blood pressure before lifting .He checks it at walmart on the machine his arms are 18 in flexed so he can hardly fit his arm in the strap that closes down.but it fits about the same as before the anavar use .
so same machine, same time checking B/P about 30 minutes before lifting.
i see him today I'll suggest to him to buy a machine and monitor it at home

btw 135 is not to bad but 147 is over the high mark not like heart attack high but just not very safe long term

A BP cuff that is too small will give a false high blood pressure reading most of the time. And you don't worry about heart attack with high blood pressure (although it is a possible cause of heart attack) your concern is a stroke from a ruptured vessel in the brain. But 147 is not that high. It is bad, but not deadly in most cases. Still have him check it on a larger size BP cuff and see what he gets. Then if he needs to drop the Anavar, well then he should do so.

Dude, his systolic reading can be affected by other variables like stress, etc.... his diastolic reading is great (even lower than before) It is more important to keep an eye on the diastolic unless the systolic gets way high for extended periods of time. Systolic can vary quite a bit within just one day. When my pressure is checked in the evening after work, it always runs in the 140's because I am stressed from work; checked in the morning, runs about 120.
