Anabolic Steroids

Geez this board actually seems a steroid flea market. Anyway I thought someone may want to see this link regarding steroid use. http://www.acefitness.org/fitfacts/fitfacts_display.cfm?itemid=49 It is the Ace website, "AceFitness" in case anyone is worried about getting a virus from the link. I am suprised people talk openly about using steroids and wonder if they know what they can do. I know a steroid user may go "roid rage" on this post, but I wanted to see someone's reaction. It is a wonder people use the stuff when steroid users themselves report getting "boobs" and shrunken testicals.

Its personal choice whether or not we want to use steroids, we all know the risks involved and this ELITE site is a good place to learn and read. Not all the bros here use it!! We are old and wise enough to choose what we want to do!

I think most of the discussion here on elite pertains to either proper training and nutrition or how to AVOID getting "boobs or shrunken testicals (sic)" while still reaping the rewards of AAS in a maximally safe situation (also hence why the plethora of discussion regarding supplements to protect one's liver, suggested post-cycle therapies, and authenticity questions to make sure you're not just shooting 10w30 or unsterilized sesame oil).

Son, let me guess your a brand new ACE certified PT, ready to make the world a better place, I respect that, and I respect your right to not use anabolic steroids. But take some advice educate yourself and don't believe all that ACE bullshit, in the link. Steroids used incorrectly can be a problem, on the other hand used with knowledge and proper application, they can enhance one's life and well being.

Even within the HIV infected community that uses AS, there is very rare sharing of needles. They are cheap and so easy to get compared to AS, why take the risk. Hey, i'm still at least hep C negative and want to stay that way.

Some people get their self-esteem by building health and fitness, safely making gains with AAS over time, and others get their self-esteem by infantilizing and demeaning the responsible adults around them. I would rather choose more mature ways of feeling good about myself, that focus on myself and what I do, versus taking all the attention off myself and tearing down others as you enjoy doing. Just a personal choice, I guess.

Steroid flea market? This board has very strict rules about the open posting of sources. If you want a steroid flea market go somewhere else. I believe if you look around on the boards here, you'll find a community of athletes trying to meet their goals(eg:weight loss, strength, size) in the safest most effective ways possible, whether it be through the use of hormone therapy or not.
