An update on my new piercing

Her response was amazing. She thought it was a bad idea, didn't want me to do it, and thought it wouldn't feel good. She has since changed her mind on this and is very glad that I got it done.

For me, well, still tender, so it's not that great at the moment. Her response makes it worth it though. Plus it's very intense for me when I orgasim, so I'm not complaining.

Changed jewlery today. The new peice should take a lot of stress off of me until I'm no longer tender.

Tounge got a 10ga bar in it today as well. Was using 14ga for 4 years and I don't know why I never bothered to stretch it before. The 10ga slid in like a knife going through warm butter. I probably should've just jumped straight to 8ga.

Life is good :)

And to those of you that think it's not worth doing, trust me, it's definetly worth doing. Our sex life has always been good, but this is unbelievable for her. I was impressed with her response to how good it felt.

No matter how good it feels for you or for her, I don't expect I'll EVER get my penis pierced. Sorry, but just the idea makes my willie shrivel and hide. I'm just not big on piercing holes into my body.

Congrats though, glad to hear you like it. :)

It's nothing to be scared of...it's just a little prick ;)

Still tender today just from the jewlery change. This sucks. If it's this way just from changing jewlery, I can only imagine what a stretch is going to be like.

Ummm, the same thing that happens to any guy - I make promises that I know I'm never going to keep because there's no blood going to my brain.

So seriously though, is the none-main-uretha hole ( lol) blocked by the jewelry?

Jewlery runs up and out the "main hole." Doesn't impair my ability to do anything.

I did piss all over my legs once though. That kind of sucked, but at least I was already naked and about to get in the shower. Some people squat to pee, I refuse to ;)

whats the advantage of changing the bar size?

ive had my tongue done for 3 months and using the same bar they put in

That's exactly what I've been asking the whole time but couldn't really figure out how to say it, lol

Ah, ok, I gotcha.

Nope, no real difference except cleaning up takes a little more work.

I've gone down in length to a 1/2" and want to go even shorter, possibly as short as 3/8". I know the next will be 7/16". I know other people that a 1/2" bar is tight on them.

Shorter is nice because it's not in the way. Going thicker is just for the hell of it. I'll continue to stretch the tounge as far as I stretch the PA, so probably down to 6ga which is getting a bit thick.

If it's been 3 months, I know you're definetly safe to go shorter, but I don't know how long you need to wait to go thicker if you desire to.

stretching "down there" hurts almost as much as the initial piercing..........but you recover quicker after it's stretched.

rnch said:

No way :worried:

Did you stretch with a taper? I've heard of people using teflon tape around the jewlery, adding a little bit more at a time, until they reach their desired gauge. Slow, gentle process. Dunno if that'd be safe to do "down there" or not though. I'd definetly have to check with a piercer on that and quite possibly a doctor. Can't you tug and pull at it a lot so it'll begin to naturally stretch? My tounge stretched enough on it's own that 14 to 10ga wasn't even an issue, but there's not a whole hell of a lot of difference between those gauges.

each time i stretched, the piercer used a taper.....and LOTS of lube.

it's over in a heartbeat......felt kinda warm and throbbing for a few seconds after the stretch.

don't stretch anymore than 2 sizes (10 ga to 6 ga) at once!

Shit man, I'm only going to stretch one size at a time. I'm probably going to end up doing every stretch myself since no one within a reasonable distance wants to deal with it.

10 to 8 is next, then 8 to 6. That's both for the tounge and down below.

there is NO WAY on god's green earth that i could stretch myself.. :artist:

How long is your barbell?
I've had my tongue pierced for almost 3 years now... I had the barbell changed to a shorter one about 6 weeks after the piercing was done. I find the shorter barbell more comfortable, don't remember what length it is though, to be honest with you. I have no intention of stretching the hole in my tongue... right now I have a 14g barbell which is what I was pierced with.

Short = better, definetly. After 3 weeks I couldn't stand the excessive length of the bar they used when I was pierced. Worked down to 1/2" long bar within 2 months.

Once I'm done tounge stretching (will probably stop at 6ga) I'm going to go as short as possible, probably 7/16" or 3/8". My main reason for stretching at this point is so when I'm done with college and need to get a real job, I can put a clear tunnel or some other retainer in there so it can't be seen. The fact that I will need to get a "real" job within 2 years or less is the reason I didn't get my eyebrow redone or got both lobes done and got them to 8 or even 6ga rings.

Yeah, I didn't like the excessively long barbell they pierced me with either, I was glad to change it to a shorter one. Hmm, when I start working I'm planning to use a clear or flesh coloured barbell to make it less noticable (although mine really isn't too noticable as it is, since I don't play with it a lot and most people don't notice it right away). Is it harder to find clear barbells/retainers for lower gauge tongue piercings or something?

I've used a clear ball on the top and a flesh colored one on the bottom and it makes it a lot less noticable, but it can still be seen. Retainers are availible in most sizes I believe. I'd like to actually be able to put a tunnel in there when the time comes. By tunnel I mean those things that people put in their earlobes when they're stretched. I'm not sure the smallest size a tunnel is availible in, but like I said, I plan on stretching the tounge as far as I stretch the PA. Why? Dunno, just because I can.

A lot of people don't notice mine at first either. A girl in one of my classes, after 3 weeks of talking to her, said, "oh wow, when did you get your tounge pierced?" Ummm, a few YEARS ago. The girl that sat next to her said she didn't notice it for a week or so either. I make no attempts to hide it and at the most it's an inch back from the tip of my tounge.

daisyduke6 said:
What if the piercing comes out in her??? :worried:

It's not going to come out inside her. Same as with any bar that the balls are screwed in, as long as you keep the balls screwed on tight, it's not going to come apart.

A CBR (captive bead ring) would have a higher chance of coming apart. That's the ring with one ball, the force of the ring keeps the ball in place (there's 2 little indents in the ball). However, that's only going to come apart if you've pried it apart numerous times and stretched the ring a little. When the CBR was put in me, the piercer had to grab a set of special pliers for CBRs to open it up far enough that he could get the ball in easily. Taking it apart was not fun when I switched out jewlery. I was ready to get a pair of pliers to pry it apart when I finally got it open enough. Not an easy thing to do, but I managed to get the ball back in place without pliers.

Jaded - I started with a ring, now I have a curved BB, and when I stretch, I'll get a horseshoe.

Crak, do you find that your pierced tongue enhances your ability to give blowjobs?

You'll never find out. Keep dreaming.

As far as giving a woman a good licking, a pierced tounge won't make you awesome at the task, you have to have that skill before hand. I do, and the piercing is just an extra tool at my disposal to make it even better for her. Too many homophobes think that it's only good for blowjobs  Ask a woman that's recieved oral from a guy (or a chick :p ) that has their tounge pierced. They'll tell you it can definetly make it better.

Hey gravy!! Glad to hear the piercing is going well & you like it & all.....

One thing I did notice with you is that you don't lisp like others do who have a tongue piercing.... that's what prolly helps people not to notice it....

Dude that really looks painful. Made mine shrivel up and I don't even have one.

The pain was temporary. Yes, it hurt like hell. The healing hasn't been pleasant, and I'm finding out that a lot of others have healed a lot faster than me.

What almost made me change my mind at the last minute was 2 things the piercer said. One was that some people have bled for 18 days (just spotting, not constant) and the other was that some people have painful sex for months afterwards. I bled for less than 48 hours.

I was in full retreat when I dropped my pants to prepare for the piercing. It was kind of funny in a way, as I've never seen it quite so small before :lmao: . On the plus side, I was nowhere near being aroused, which made me feel better because it was a guy handling me. Always good to know, right?

:laugh2: @ lisp.

The first 2 weeks were funny as hell. I could barely talk. The week after I had my tounge pierced I went to Louisana for my 2 week stint on the oil rig. I didn't really have a lisp, more like a drawl. I sounded just like a back woods country boy. I guess it helped me to fit in a little ;)

The short bar that I wear helps out a lot too. The longer ones suck. You've got to keep your tounge still more so the bar doesn't bang around everywhere, thus the lisp.

10g%20Tounge.jpg

That's 1/2" bar and you can see how much extra I have. I have a pretty thin tounge apparently.

The other bonus to short bars is you won't bite on it. I think I've bitten the 1/2" bar twice once I stopped using acrylic balls, and I havn't worn acrylic balls for 3 1/2 years.

Is that you in that pic? If so Are you pubic hair that color too? Just curious.
Oh kay and being serious now. Did u have to be hard or soft to get it pierced?

I implied that it was my tounge, so yes, that is me.

My pubes, if I stopped buzzing them down really short, would be darker.

There's not a chance in 99% of the men on earth could maintain an erection while being pierced. The remaining 1% is not a group I fall into.

There's pics of my "member" immediately following the jewlery being put in and I am in "full retreat," meaning it wouldn't get any smaller.

Yeah, you need to go "shorter" with the bar in your tongue -- that's way too long..... But why would you want to stretch the hole in your tongue wider??

UR very brave!! I got my navel pierced about 7yrs. ago , the pain was very intense, but brief. The healing took an extremely long time though.

Well Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, a 1/2" bar is pretty damn short to begin with. When I stick my tounge out, my tounge flattens a bit making the bar look like it needs to be shorter. I do want to go shorter, but my "performances" with my tounge are just fine at this length ;)

Already covered this, but anyway....I want to be able to put a "tunnel" in there eventually. See the purple jewlery in her ear - http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/01-ear/A50413/high/bmegl050505.jpg I want to be able to put jewlery like that in my tounge if they'll stay in. I havn't seen any pictures of someone doing that to their tounge, so I don't know if it's possible or not, but I'd love to try. I'd use clear or flesh colored acrylic so it would just look like a hole that's there for no reason.

Plus I want to keep my tounge stretched as far as my PA is stretched so if I'm talking to someone that wants to know how thick my PA jewlery is, I don't have to whip it out to show them. Was at a friend's house last night talking to him and his wife and I pulled out my tounge stud to show them the thickness of my PA jewlery. He wanted me to show her, which I didn't have a problem with, but she wasn't too terribly interested in seeing so I didn't. I think he just wants to see it in person instead of seeing a picture.

Allll-righty then, Scrapple-Puff, but why do you want such a wide hole in your tongue?? You'd have to have a pretty thick stud to be able to hold something right?

I want to make the hole bigger because I can. Plus say I have to take out the tounge stud for a period of time, like a few days. It will more than likely begin closing up. If it's stretched, I can always put a thinner bar back in painlessly.

I have 10g in both holes right now, which is only 2.5mm. The next jump is to 8g (3mm), then 6ga (4mm). Not sure if I'll go further.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say about the "pretty thick stud to be able to hold something."

Any other questions Cheesecake darlin?

Cuz, Sausage N Eggs, if you stretch out the hole, then theoretically a thin stud or whatever could just go right on thru the hole & not "stay in" so to speak.

But, doing it cuz you can makes sense....

When you stretch the hole, you use larger balls on the jewelry. Like right now, I have 1/4" (6mm) diameter balls. That didn't sound good.....

I have those balls on my tounge and had them on ;)

Damn, that REALLY didn't sound good......

crak, have you ever had one of the beads on your tongue barbell come off?

I check mine regularly to make sure they're on tight, but once when I was eating dinner a bead came off and I thought I swallowed it. I've known people who've accidentally swallowed their whole barbell, lol.

My dentist keeps telling me to change my barbell to one with acrylic beads but I haven't gotten around to it.

Only once has a stainless steel ball come undone on me. Just make sure they're tight at all times. You should only have to check it once a day.

Acrylic balls are nice, but there is a very slim proportion of the population that is allergic to them. Once I was healed, I used acrylic balls for a few months. It was nice because I did bite on them a few times. Breaking an acrylic ball is a lot cheaper than breaking a tooth. I never broke an acrylic ball, but they did have tooth marks in them.

I seriously doubt you're allergic to the acrylic material. If 1 person in 10,000 is allergic to them (just making up numbers) then there has to be some sort of FDA warning or something like that. If you do use acrylics, keep a spare or two with you if possible (in purse, car, somewhere).

Last time I went to the dentist, the hygenist started trying to tell me about how acrylics are better and metal balls can scratch my teeth...that's when I cut her off and said, "yeah, and you can chip teeth and stuff like that. Listen, I've had my tounge pierced for 4 years now. I stopped wearing acrylics about 3 1/2 years ago and in that time I've bitten the stud maybe twice. I think I'm doing ok." She said my teeth looked great (no scratching or chipping). Then she shut up about the tounge stud.

Ouch.

They make tapers to help assist inserting jewelry into a partially closed hole. If it's been too long you might not be able to though.

I wouldn't of taken them out for long, but that's just me.

i never planned on leaving them out i just took them out for a few hours and then tried a bzillion times to put them back in again but i was freaked it would hurt alot and couldnt get them back in- i was so pissed even at dev for asking me. someday i will have them put back in they have been put for about a year now but i totally loved having them

Well, went this afternoon and ordered a 3/4" curved bar locally. The piercer wouldn't check me to measure. WTF is wrong with people? I doubt she's never seen or touched a dick before. It's nothing to be scared of, it's just a penis.

I really hope this bar fits. I ordered one online a few weeks ago thinking it'd be just long enough to work with and it's too long. If the guy that pierced me wouldn't of gone so deep (3/4" is deep) I wouldn't have these issues.

Yeah, i usually check that the beads are on tight before I go to bed. Despite the SSS bead (as opposed to acryllic) i've only bit my barbell once or twice...I don't play with the barbell very much, and so far I've had no tooth damage as a result, so I've been in no rush to switch over to acryllic beads. I like the look of the silver bead, too, even though no one really sees it, LOL.

Dakotah - that sucks hun! How long did you have the piercings out before they closed up? I had my navel pierced at one point but took it out because, after healing fine for 7 months, it began to reject.

You can get fancy colors with acrylics though ;)

I stopped up at the tattoo/piercing place and they had "non-breakable" dental acrylics.

The acrylics I had got "worn out." The threading came undone from the acrylic. One of them was like a half ball. It was flat on the side that screwed in but rounded on the other side, and about 1/4 the thickness of a regular ball. I kept that on the bottom and it felt great against all the connecting things from the bottom of the mouth to the tounge.
