amp opening

how many of you open an amp and the top breaks and pieces of glass fall into the liquid??this is annoyng but i wonder if is still safe to inject it,i always drawed the liquid and injected it with no problems.do u guys think are there any risks with sterility?

2 things i always wondered. 1) what if a tiny litle piece of glass gets sucked up int othe needle and injected.......and 2) how the hell do they fill the amps while remaining sterile?

surely the inside part of the amp is sterile but the outer glass obviously its not.

I Have Never Personally Had Any Problems, Although Many Times Did I Suck My Gear Up With Glass Floating Around In It From Breaking The Amp. But, If You Think About It I'm Sure It Can Possibly Hurt You.

Never had any problems, I've used amp openers, scissors, and a ball point pen cap to snap it off. Haven't broken a single one yet.

bro, usually when the glass does break its not in little pieces but i wouldnt worry about it ive never had any problems, also u can buy that amp cutter like mentioned above or go to home depot and buy glass cutters which is optimal because it cuts the glass clean and never any problems with breaks

Theres vets with pieces of shrapnel still in their body and you're worried about a piece of glass?

 

[Snarling Force]

The trick is to pull hard up and away as you snap at a 45 degree angle. You'll hear a loud POP and the amp will snap off totally clean. You'll get the feel for it after the first couple. I've never had any glass using this method. Its a clean break everytime. No need for an amp opener.
