amp opening

Leave the amp on your counter top, take off cap from needle, place in vial, withdraw it up..Voila!
Sometimes i get crazy and smash the top with the back of a knife.

This is going to sound crazy but I used to use a pair of pliers and just crushed the top off. I would use a snaping motion not to get any glass in the amp. I would do this, holding the amp at angle right over the tiolet so any glass would fall in the toilet and not on the floor.

if its tough to pop...take a pair of scissors and just lightly score the glass around in circular motion ....should pop clean...

I isu a serraided style knife and run it around the band then it snaps off clean.

getpinz.com amp opeaners real cheap, as someone mentioned sust amps are a bitch. iwould rather pay a few bucks then risk losing a shattered amp.
After its open just stick the pin in the top you just opened and draw. i can hold and draw, if thats hard you can sit and hold the amp in between your knees to draw. I have spilled b4 just setting amp on counter trying to draw

This is one of those things that you just basically figure out. At least I did. Bros were doing this long before there was internet to ask. They "figured" it out to. You break off the top, stick the needle in there, suck out the oil.......
You might wanna change pins if you keep jabbing the bottom of the amp with the one you draw with as it might dull it... but seriously.. its not rocket science..
