Where's the best place to get one? Been scoring the necks with a sharp knife then breaking 'em off. Gotta be a better way!

Any office supply store. Bic pen lids work great. Score the neck and use your pen lid - POP!

Just wrap a paper towel around the top and snap it off. Been doing it that way for 28 years and never had a problem.

You could go the safest way and use Mr.X's advice and support our sponsors or if you are in a bind use Vertigos' advice.

My advice would be to use towel, but not a paper one, use a cloth one its much easier and you dont need to use much pressure.

Twentythree bucks for something that the top of a bic pen does just fine??? That's insane. Don't waste your money on something that's a rip off.

Never needed one. The trick is to pull upwards but also at an angle and the amp will pop right off. Its so simple. I used to spend so much time scoring and doing all this shit then one day I just tried it and realized its really just that easy.
