A lot of people seem to recommend this sleeping aide which I guess is relatively easy to buy online. Does anyone else here use Ambien? Where would be the best place to buy it online?

Just go to a legit doc and get a script for it. Up at 4:12AM? I see the need for it. :)

Ask the doc to have you try seroquell if he will entertain that. Makes ambien look like pez candy.

That would be the easy way to do it. I'm looking for a quicker mor cost-effective way. Different Internet pharmacies are are pretty expensive though.

I have been taking Ambien 5mg a night. It is a great pill because it is very effective and when you wake up you are not groggy. However it can be very addictive. I also have seroquel but I hardly ever use it. Talking about groggy in the morning! I walk like a zombie for hours !

Ambien is great. I use it pretty often as well. It is actually in a class of hypnotics. Once you take it, you better be ready to fall asleep. I have taken it before and not even remembered getting into bed. Doctors tend to perscribe it very freely, so your best bet is to get a script for it. Dont worry about the hassels of ordering it online. It is not that expensive, so just take the easy route, and yes it can be very addictive. If you take it too often it can be a real bitch going to sleep when you dont take it.

I was at a point where I could barely sleep a whole hour per night. Ambien knocked me out, but only for about 4 hours. I sometimes and to wake up at 3 for another knockout punch.

Highly, Highly recommended. I paid $50 for 30 tabs, but insurance paid for the rest.

Ambien is very good to me. The reason why you are waking up at 4 or 5 is because Ambien is supposed to wear off before you wake up, this leads to not feeling groggy in the a.m. It is fairly expensive, about 70 bucks for 20 10mg pills. But, if you are not sleeping it is definetly worth it, especially on gear. Before I got the script I was popping 4 or 5 tylenol p.m.'s but I forgot one thing, aspirin is horrible for the liver.

I'm taking Unisom now which seems to work but I'm also building up a tolerance to it and I need to take more and more to get to sleep. I'm going to see the doc this week and I'll get a script for ambien.

Because of the ambien wearing off after about 4-5 hrs, doctors will commonly perscribe another drug called elavil, which will keep you asleep after the ambien puts you to sleep. I feel kind of groggy for the first few hrs of the morning after taking elavil with my ambien though.

actually elevil or generic amytriptaline is an anti-depressant. It helps you fall asleep but does not keep you asleep, it makes you drowsy tho.

Ambien is made to be a long acting sleep pill to KEEP you alseep.

Sleep

I have used just about every sleeping pill there is. Seroquel works well, but like mentioned it will make you a little groggy. Ambien also works very well, but I wake up after 4-5 hours. There is another pill that works like Ambien, but has a longer half life, so it lasts longer. Its called Sonata. You should be able to get any of these easily from your Doctor. If you dont have to get up early for work I would go for Seroquel.

Ambien works well but there are two big caveats, which others have already mentioned but I want to mention them again:

1) It IS addictive. If you use it regularly you will not be able to get to sleep without it. Welcome to junkie-land!

2) NEVER take Ambien and leave your house. It makes you feel very dizzy and intoxicated. You're likely to crash your car or get in other trouble.

For example: take an Ambien and decide to repair your rare Chinese vase before hitting the sack? You will drop the vase and it will shatter on the ground. You get all woozy and uncoordinated.

IMO you should never take Ambien until you are ready to go right to bed and you'll save yourself a lot of danger and/or grief.:bawling:

You may also want to try Sonata. I usually do many cycles of Sonata, Ambien, Xanax, and Diazepam (I'm not an addict, I swear!). Sonata seems to work the best of the four and I can get up and train in the A.M. (after a grape Speed Stack, of course) with good intensity.

i have been taking ambien for six years on and off, easy to get script from the doc. You need to limit yourself though i got hooked on it, the doc had to take me off and i went three days no sleep. It has a rebound effect, take it too long and it becomes inefective. I have had chronic insomnia for 7 years, i still take ambien occ. but i take elavil daily, not typically a sleep aid, but it has been very effective for me. i have been on that for 6 years every night before bed, its a lot less addictive than ambien. good luck bro!!!

I use it when on tips & what not because that is when I have the hardest time sleeping. It can bevery habit forming & would not recomend using more than 2 weeks at a time.

10 mg of Ambien is great drug. Non addictive as well. If you want the opposite of Ambien for the day time. 200mg of Provigil in the AM keep you up all day without any Adrenalin rush. It the antithesis of Ambien. Used for narcolepsy
