Alright I know what almost all of you will say, Im to young to use juice. First off Im 18 almost 19, and Ive been lifting seriously since a few months before my 17th Bday. So I do have some training years under my belt, not a ton but a few. Anyway I used 1-AD earlier this yr for an 8 week cycle. I made huge gains, I never used to bench only did dumbell press. After 1-AD Dumbell press went from using 60's to 80-90's and bench is up to repping 285lb for 5-6 reps. But now its like Ive leveled out again, Im not going to start taking them for atleast another 2-3 months. I wanna learn as much as I can first. Im not a small little 18yr old I never get ID'd girls dont even belive me if I tell them im 18 and neither do my friends. Im 205 9%BF. So what do ya think?

Mike

Your only 18 now, your body is producing testosterone already at high levels. I wish I would have taken advantage of my teens and lifted harder adn eaten more. I would hold off a couple years. Your in the right place to learn more about training and eating for mass. 205 @ 9% is damn good at 18. To hell with the AD-1.

Don't use any pro-hormones (similar sides, less gains) and AAS for another 4-5yrs. You can make lots healthier, permanent gains at your age ....just stick to lots of quality food, protein, creatine and glutamine...no need to start stressing your body at such a early stage.

So even if I wanna start competing in like a yr I should hold off on the juice? Even an 8 week cycle is bad you think. I know theres kids here juicing, but Im still bigger than them. So I know theres other college kids using shit. Thanks for the advice, Im trying to get all different view points.

There are lots of guys here who say they started earlier. If you want to compete, then you just use your own judgement. When you enter the BB competion arena, you should know that you must get involved in heavy AAS + bunch of other serious drugs use and accept /understand all its sides and risks.

Best advice is learn all you can first. You sound like you already made up your mind, so just be smart about what you take and how you take it. There are definately drugs that would definately be better than others. Try to stay away from 17aa steroids. If you do decide to do it, just try some low dose high yield cycles. It would definately be better for you to wait till you are in your mid 20s, but advice is like an asshole, everybody has one. Good luck.

Bro,

if you feel ready none of us can stop you, we can only give you our insight. think you should wait at least two more years. Sound to me like you may have good genetics due to your weight and bodyfat and your ambition to compete (you must have great genetics to make it competing). I'm 23 and I wonder if I started to young. I like you started lifting @ 17, however after 4 years o lifting I felt like naturally I could not bring it any further with out the assistance of AS. Either way good luck

A am sure that Arnold started before 18 BUT he was fully aware of his potential and NOTHING ELSE EXISTED in his life but to become Mr. Olympia.
If you have very god genetics and have put on at least 20 pounds of pure muscle AND intend on making Bodybuilding your career then yes go ahead and start........but don't be foolish and over estinmate your genetics. Most guys(95% or more) do not have the gentics to become a pro.

How tall are you and do you and do you have any body parts that are very weak...like calves?

Arnold started using steroids at age 13. He didn't have lots of weight lifting under his belt before he started using AAS, unless he lifted naturally from age 10-13. I think not. Is Arnold totally screwed up and do you think that he regrets what he's done in his past? I think not. If you have a good mind and self control, you're not going to mess up your body.

I started at age 18 and I don't regret it one bit. I was a freshman in college and had lots of free time to hit the gym and had access to as much free food as I wanted. Add some AAS and you have the ideal set up for bodybuilding. Also, steroids were legal with a prescription back then and I had a doctor that would write me scripts for Deca, Winstrol, and Anavar. If I needed some Test or D-bol it was available from the good guys at the gym for an extremely low price compared to today's prices.

I'm getting a little off track here, lets get back to your post. So you're 18 or 19, well, just because you might have decided to start at this age, it doesn't mean that you can't stop for some time after. Let's say that you use steroids for the next 2-4 years. Then maybe you'll decide to quit for a while and work on building some natural muscle. I went this route and everything has worked out great. I'm 35 now and in excellent shape. I could pass for someone in his late 20's any day.

I wouldn't advise anyone to use steroids under age 18, but IMO, I think that 18 is old enough to begin with chemical enhancement.

Arnold sure the heck didn't start roids at 13!!!!!!!! Unless he was already 6'2" at 13 NOT! he probably started at about 17 or 18. Taking steroids will fuse ones growth plates PRONTO and one will then never grow another inch.
Males normally stop growing at about 16 or 17 but sometimes latter so it is a bit risky taking roids even at 18 for that reason.
