AM eating Problem.....

I'm waking about 6am and since I eat so late, I have ZERO appetite......so I pack my meals for the day, shower, get dressed, drive to work. I get in my bcaas, vitamins, etc as soon as I wake, but not eating my first meal until about 730.......is this a severe problem or does it really not matter?

Your body won't start burning calories efficiently until you eat. Anything is better than nothing; yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, something light.
 
i THOUGHT THAT, BUT THEN WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOING FASTED AM CARDIO FIRST THING? Same principle...
 
I think for you it is a problem.

nah...on a cut yes, bulk i dont think it really matters...u do?

Not sure, I would think because your body would naturally burn X cals simply from eating, you would then burn X+cardio cals if you eat and then do cardio. Rather than just cardio cals.
 
I drink a few pasteurized egg whites with some skim milk - or you could boil a few early on in the week I suppose and have em ready.
 
thanks for all the replies.......I'll continue to wait an hour without worry, but I will be getting in 10g of bcaas immidiately........
 
I feel for you. I have the same problem. I try to break it up more during the day. I take medicaiton that kills my appetite.
 
whatw the problem? its an hour. its gotta be betteer to wair and eaat the whole meal than force it and get hlf down!

as long as you finish the other half and get the daily amount of cals you need. how late do you eat btw, that affects your appetite in the AM?
 
I have my pw meal heavy at 6pm....then I have a prebed (on my pillow) meal of casein shake, 10 almonds and a tons of veggies....usua;;y wake up 2-3 times starving so I grab some more veggies and cotage cheese....last dnack id prob. 1-2am and I'm up at 6am....so it's really only 6 hours without food...

You are trying to add bodyweight. Lean bodyweight in particular although it's very hard to not add some fat in the process. With that in mind, you never want to have the feeling that you are "starving" during a bulk. It's like someone trying to lose bodyfat and feeling Thanksgiving Day stuffed all day long.

Go for the 25 times your bodyweight in total calories and get that in during the day. And NEVER let yourself go hungry.

And get rid of that cottage cheese and veggie snack. You're a man who wants larger muscles not a woman trying to fit into her bikini. Go to the fridge and make yourself a sandwich with precooked lean beef, cheese, onions, peppers, and maybe some hot sauce. Follow it with a glass of whole milk. And scramble up 6 whole eggs with cheese to go along with your casein shake and almonds. I promise you won't get fat!

Remember that goal of trying to look bigger in clothes. Stretch out those sleeves and don't worry about bodyfat until you're well over 200 pounds.

Just tryin to help you get over the 160 pound mark bro. The eggs I was talkin about with your casein and almonds before bed. Make your 2 am snack ahead of time if you have to and leave it in the fridge. You should be able to get 3500-4000 calories in during the day but if you can't then find the time. The point is to never go hungry during a bulk. Especially since you said you lost 2 pounds last week. Good luck.

well in his head, 3000 cals is plentyyyyy.
